My blogging assistant has been avoiding me, so it's been tough getting current on my blogging. Please forgive the tardiness on this post. I've got to get it done so I can post the shindig we attended for Wes's Uncle Wes and Aunt Ann. How's that for a sentence? We are always blessed when the Hopkins bunch can visit from Kansas. Enjoy.
As soon as they hit town, we grabbed Mercedes and Evangeline and whisked them off to visit their Great Great Aunt Mildred in Hewitt. Mercedes was sporting a nice forehead bo-bo!
Brother Jimmy and Sis-in-law Aggie were visiting, so we took the opportunity to have a mini-reunion. Jan's cousin Mary Carpenter, her husband David, and their daughter Margaret Croft joined us at George's Big O.
Evie demonstrates that she can nap anywhere. She gets that from her Papa Wes!
Back in Liberty Hill, we get some supper at one of our faves, Dahlia Cafe. Everybody knows your name!
And on the playground, I help the girls have a safe teeter-totter ride.

Kate put together this great announcement that we are going to be Grandparents again! I think the scriptures say 'Grandchildren are a blessing from the Lord'. Or something like that!
